A key executive in four successful high-technology start-ups that have gone public, Jeffrey Hudson brings over 25 years of experience in information technology management.
Most recently, Mr. Hudson was chairman and CEO at MS2, Inc., an enterprise software application company he founded in 1998. MS2 established a new application category called Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and was considered a pioneering leader of PLM enterprise class applications.
Before founding MS2, he was senior vice president, corporate development at Informix Software, responsible for strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and the Informix Venture Fund. He has held numerous executive leadership posts as president and CEO of Visioneer, senior vice president of marketing, sales and service for NetFRAME Corporation and senior vice president positions responsible for marketing and worldwide customer service and support at WYSE Technology. He spent his early career in various sales and marketing management positions at IBM, Digital Equipment Corp. and Fortune Systems.
Mr. Hudson earned a B.A. in communications at the University of California, Davis. He is currently on the board of directors at Pacific Crest Corporation.
In his role as CTO, Ken Williams has responsibility for the development and strategic direction of Vhayu's technology. Mr. Williams brings a 30-year career in technology and software development to Vhayu.
He has founded several companies and has worked for innovative companies such as Intel, General Magic and Taligent.
Prior to founding Vhayu, Mr. Williams served as a consultant to New Moon working on compression performance issues and on multiprocessor performance for Liftoff, a product allowing multi-user access to Windows NT applications, even over the Internet. Before joining New Moon, Mr. Williams was director of OS software for Gizmo Technology where he evaluated OS performance and hardware/software tradeoff issues on a variety of applications and systems.
Prior to joining Gizmo, Mr. Williams was a consultant at Intel, where he did a redesign, adding capabilities and enhancing performance, of the analysis portion of an Intel performance product called VisualTune, or VTune. This product is used extensively for new processor shakedown and is being used at companies, such as Microsoft, Oracle and Adobe, for performance studies and improvements. Mr. Williams founded IGC, an operating system company, in 1987, and was a co-founder of Softguard Systems, a software copy protection company, in 1983.
Mr. Williams attended the University of Missouri. His major was computer science.
As president of Vhayu, Shanti Dev is responsible for all the aspects of the company's business functions, including sales, marketing and business development.
Mr. Dev's career spans over 18 years in the enterprise software, defense, management consulting and telecommunications industries. He has both domestic and international experience.
Prior to joining Vhayu, Mr. Dev co-founded A4 Scientific, an environmental services company based in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a member of the management team for i2 Technologies in EMEA and was based in Brussels for over four years with proven successes in sales, consulting, alliances and business development. Prior to joining i2, Mr. Dev participated in turnaround management consulting with the George Group and managed an R & D group for General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin with a multi-million dollar budget.
Mr. Dev received a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Osmania University, India, a Masters degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University and an M.B.A. in international management from University of Dallas.
Prior to Vhayu, John was president and COO of Javelin Technologies, the world’s largest FIX technology firm, which was acquired by NYFIX in 2002. John was also a member of Ease Technologies where he was a founder of the group that created the TRIAD indication of interest management system which was purchased by Reuters. Additionally, John has held sales management positions at ADP, Bridge, VIE Systems and Reuters over the last 17 years, and has been at the forefront of promoting electronic trading via FIX since its inception, writing numerous articles on the benefits of automation. Coulter holds a B.A. in English Literature and a B.A. in journalism from Fairfield University
As Vice President of Engineering, Sudhakaran has responsibility in overseeing day to day engineering activities and ensuring the quality of Vhayu's products.
Sudhakaran brings over 20 yrs of software development and management expertise to Vhayu. Prior to joining Vhayu, Sudhakaran served in management and development positions in companies such as Philips, WebMD, IBM and Taligent. He co-founded Future Integrations Systems in 1994, which was acquired by National Semiconductor in 1997.
Mr. Nair received a bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications and a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from Cochin University of Science & Technology, India.
